This reminds me of a high-powered rocket project I led a couple years ago at my company. Our facility was formerly designated as a FOD-free area but was since vacated, allowing the rocket project to take over. In tribute we called our project "FOD-ONE" (reverse-acronym sold to management was 'Flight on Demand')



For the middle 4 feet of the composite, 2-stage, 14 foot tall rocket, the name held true (due to a ripped main shock cord)


But hey, where's the fun if you don't create a little FOD, right?
