Red face Re: Predictions Championship 2013: The Ultimate Prize

As always the analysis is insightful. I think that flexibility in strategy and scouting info in qualification matches will be huge as Ultimate Accent has more variables than other games I have seen in my short time in FIRST since 2010. If you are with an FCS, Climber, Cycler or floor pick up you need to analyze your strengths and the other alliances and figure out how to counter or defend against theirs and maximize your own.

There are a lot of options available. Which one brings victory can be different depending on who you are with and who you are against and how good of strategy you can put together and EXECUTE in your alliance. It will take teamwork regardless of good strategy in your alliances and good communication of expectations to each alliance partner.

In elliminations it will be more of the same but at a higher level. You have the opportunity to get your "perfect" alliance that compliments your team and robot skills but the devil is in the details and another alliance may have a better strategy or execution or just be more reliable.

I think this is the best FIRST competition game I have have seen and I am anxious to see how it plays out.

Good Luck to all the teams attending.
