On a related subject, I'll bet some other teams have named all of their batteries like we have (it is a practice we picked up from 1625 Winnovation.) We actually become very familiar with each battery by name, and remember which ones won important matches, which ones are a little weaker than others, etc.

Our current roster of competition batteries:

Franklin
Neil
Mackenzie
Freebie
Oprah
Michael
Gary
Sandbag
Darwin
Pedro

Plus two batteries reserved for alliance partners: Tonto and Wattson.
I remember seeing the labels on the batteries at competition.
We're actually thinking about taking up a similar practice, but using military vehicle project names such as "Blackbird" and "Phantom".
