Apologies for taking so long to score them, but Ian did get it done, big kudos to him.

Currently in the brainstorming phase, for next year:
  • Web interface
  • "Live" scoring as the matches come in
  • Running for all regional, district, and divisional events
  • Real pools so teams can run the competition internally

What are the thoughts on the point allocations this year? The biggest issue I see is how under the current scoring rules robots get points for advancing no matter what position they are in an alliance (see OPR's bracket and 610 bracket; OPR had them as alliance captain winning galileo but they won as a second pick). I think the solution to this is to make a debuff the further away a team is away from their predicted position. Maybe 100% if they are within one and -50% if they are two away.

Also, a bonus is definitely needed picking the correct division to win Einstein.
