Re: NEMO turns 10 at Annual Meeting

Thanks to all who were able to stop by the Annual Meeting.
We were honored to have Dr. Woodie Flowers and Dennis Howland (Volunteer Resources Manager) drop in and talk about the important work all the NEMs on teams are doing.

Today I registered the 800th member.

Website: http://www.firstnemo.org/ Busiest month since keeping statistics: March 2013 with 16,266 requests for pages.

Goals for 2013-2014 (and we are going to need help from the NEM community):
-To increase informational outreach to all mentors in FIRST, especially through social media.
-Redesign of content, photos and “look” of NEMO website.
-To update existing white papers on the Resources page on www.firstnemo.org
-To identify an “umbrella” 501(c)3 to accept NEMO as one of their programs.

We have been asked to prepare a white paper on NEMO which is in the works.

We will also be looking for a few small grants/in-kind donations to fund certain efforts.

We want to thank all the interesting and passionate mentors we've met over the years in NEMO. You are amazing!
