Remember that you can have the vinyl stickers printed as mirror images of the true graphic and stick them to the inside of polycarbonate sides
This will protect them from damage and is easier than making many replacements.
We know this because last season we had laminated paper sides that got wrecked in every single match.
Another option that we're pursuing is printing up stickers that are similar to what colleges sell for car windows. They work quite like vinyl on polycarbonate might, but they can be full color, complex graphics because they don't require complex cutting.
Finally, remember that your team number needs to on all four sides of your robot this season (does that effectively make 857's robot from last season illegal?
) . . . that's something of a nuisance to deal with, but not insurmountable.
