As of last year, I posted a request to see if anyone needed my help because my team had not been the greatest, and I was amazed by how awesome the responses here were. I come again asking for something a little more. My school's only team has decided to ban me from joining this year because I'm "a useless sack of s**t." (I haven't been able to get any more specific than that, but I really want to think that it isn't true, especially considering I had to be physically barred from the shop last year because I was working and refused to leave). Point is, I'm going to be a senior next year, and I really, really, really want ONE enjoyable year out of FIRST, which has so far not happened. (I was thrown out of a moving subway, for starters). I therefore ask you to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, see if there is any way I could actively help out your team programming-wise next year. It would mean the world to me. I'm familiar with LabView, Java, C++, Objective-C, Ruby, and Python, I can do basic electronics work, I've coded robot autopilots in C++ and Java since I was 8, and if there's a programming task I'm not suited for, I'll teach myself over the summer. I'll be happy to provide any and all necessary references.

Please. I'm counting on you guys for a halfway decent senior year with FIRST, and I figures bronies would be the nicest people to ask.
I might need help next season with labview programming. The problem with my team is that most programmers have experience however its more with text-based languages, only two of us stepped up to learn labview (we considered switching to Java however the coach disagreed). I was made head programmer pretty much midseason this year and I managed, however it would be nice if others helped considering the workload (planning much more for next season). I'm letting the guys with text-based skill work on projects such as our site and scouting system. I might need help with labview robot programming this upcoming season so I'll keep you posted .

Yes, the 2 of us that programmed the bot this year were Bronies (a Brony and Pegasister to be specific).
