I have heard rumblings of Palmetto staying Week 1, but they are just that: rumblings. Nothing is posted on the website of any venue ever to host the Palmetto Regional*, so nothing is set for sure.

*I checked the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, North Charleston Coliseum, and Colonial Life Arena in Columbia. Littlejohn Coliseum doesn't have an event schedule I can find; I think they remember the medal count of the USC-sponsored teams while it was up there .
