I also haven't seen the Clarkson twins, 229/4124 mentioned for NY yet. They won at GSR with 610 and put up some really high scores in Boston. It was a shame that 4124 was not selected in Curie. These guys and gals also did it all on an extremely limited budget and almost exclusively college students as mentors. |
694 was also forgotten. They won NYC, then proceeded to put up some big numbers in CT.
So excluding 20, i'd say the top teams in NY in no particular order were:

All almost exclusively cyclers.
EDIT: How the heck did I forget 2791? Shaker is definitely also in the running for top 3 NY robots this year (especially since they seeded 1st and picked us at WPI). I'd love to see any of these cyclers go head-to-head on an open field. See who can put up more cycles.
