Looking at a lot of the thread spam that goes on here, there's a common pattern. A bogus title copied from somewhere along with some text in the body followed by a few dozen "Watch _________ Online" links. If we're looking to detect spam, the links seems to be a dead giveaway. Why not limit the number of links allowed in a post? No normal user has ever used that many links in a post, so it wouldn't interfere with normal activities.
