Re: New CRyptonite 624 Website
Unconventional layout, but you pulled it off. Fairly easy to navigate, though for a moment I couldn't figure out where the navigation menus were.
The information pages are really well laid out - the summary section fits perfectly on my screen, and everything else follows in a very clean and pleasing format. To a certain extent, it's a little too good - I kind of expected animations and interactivity.
A couple things to note:
For one, on some pages (I spotted this on the overview page), the navigation menus only drop down when the mouse is in the lower left corner of the button. Example in case would be the "About CRyptonite" button on the Overview page. It's a little more funky on the Members and Parent's button.
The robot page is really nice. It would be nicer if it fit all on one screen, though. (Also, I thought legal exposed lasers for FRC weren't powerful enough to make their beams visible, but I like the 2012 robot pic background).
The abrupt change for the gallery is unsettling, which may or may not be compounded by the fact that it's technically a different website. Same goes for the Videos.
Aside from those small issues, your website looks really nice, clean, and inviting. I really like how the color scheme complements the colors in the pictures - it doesn't make anything pop out outlandishly. Good job on your website!
P.S.: About the menu thing, it just went away. Not sure if it's my browser or what. You may want to stress test that feature on multiple browsers/multiple computers to see if you can replicate the error.
