Getting schedule information from the FIRST website as soon as it is posted so you don't have to type it all in by hand.
Notifications a set time before your match is scheduled (or if using the live FIRST data, a notification when the match 3 before yours has had scores posted)

Right now me and another programmer are learning how to do android apps for a scouting system, but this program was meant to be able to just display on a stationery screen in the pits, kinda like Pault's explanation:

The reason the data must be entered by hand is that we don't plan to have any connection to the Blue Alliance other than on our phones and we decided against purchasing a mobile 3g or 4g usb dongle this year due to budget constraints. I think having a notification before a match would be helpful! Thanks for the suggestion, I will work on that!
