Fusion-IO

So I just found this company who's basically killin' it when it comes to memory and storage. Fusion-IO

This is some pretty crazy stuff speed-wise in storage and it's definitely leaps and bounds better than any current SSD on the market! But at $1500 for their cheapest module (410GB) and $125k for their biggest (10.2TB), I wouldn't think this would be a very cost-efficient way to store data.

In what applications do you think this would be cost-efficient and most needed?

ALSO: One of Apple's original founders, Steve Wozniak, is the lead scientist for this company. He is also involved in FLL, from what I've seen. Do you think there's a chance of a Fusion-IO IOFX module ever coming to FRC teams?
