It's nothing big! I live in the middle of the desert. Also, that is just in the summer! I just put it in the shade and it was good after 5 minutes, though hot to the touch! At least the magnets behind my iPod weren't demagnetized! Neodymium magnets demagnetize under high (read:low) temperatures!
Also, what about placing it charging inside a 500 watt subwoofer cranked up to full? I think that would be a good test, while being dangerous. However, it would get my neighbor's nerves!
