I would also suggest:
surgical tubing
perforated PVC/Lexan for potential belly pan
encoders
gyro/accelerometer
extra wheel tread (can be used for grip on intake mechanisms, grip, etc)
bumper materials (cloth, plywood, pool noodles, staple gun)
variety of bearings
