There is so much to respond to in this thread. But for now I'm going to say that
The Phantom Menace is one of the worst movies ever, and it grossed grossly, so it has to be labeled overrated.
UHF is one of my top 5 movies of all time (and High Fidelity isn't
)
UHF rules.

Oh, and, I watched Kayla post that
Titanic comment *live*, and she said "I bet people aren't going to get the sarcasm." I didn't believe her, but I was wrong. Titanic had the highest domestic product (unadjusted), won a few handfuls of awards, was talked about at school for weeks and weeks and weeks. That's why it's such a strong counterexample of an underrated movie.
