It doesn't need to be anything special if you're just using it to connect your computer to the cRIO.
Its address does have to be compatible with the computer's network settings if you intend to log on to it for administration tasks. The
2013 FRC Bridge Configuration Utility will take care of setting it correctly according to your team number.
