I feel like this would make it hard to incorporate (effectively) a certain element of teamwork. In sports that use one, singular ball - like basketball, football, hockey, etc. - teams use plays to organize teamwork in their team. If we were to have one game object this would mean that each robot on an alliance would be a "team member" and would have to cooperate with the other robots on a scale that I've never seen before in FRC, "plays." Having one game piece would make it hard to use teamwork without "plays" which would require that each alliance member know these plays by heart as a NFL, NBA, or NHL player does.

I think maybe having hockey-style game but with multiple game pieces would be a more viable guess, kind of like we had with Rebound Rumble.
