I feel like this would make it hard to incorporate (effectively) a certain element of teamwork. In sports that use one, singular ball - like basketball, football, hockey, etc. - teams use
plays to organize teamwork in their team. If we were to have one game object this would mean that each robot on an alliance would be a "team member" and would have to cooperate with the other robots on a scale that I've never seen before in FRC, "plays." Having
one game piece would make it hard to use teamwork without "
plays" which would require that each alliance member know these plays by heart as a NFL, NBA, or NHL player does.
I think maybe having hockey-style game but with
multiple game pieces would be a more viable guess, kind of like we had with Rebound Rumble.
