When Are Points Actually Scored?
I realize that this may just be a given and I missed it, but I was wondering about point scoring. Whenever points are shown as being earned in a situation from an assist, truss toss, or catch, they are shown as being added on to the points from scoring into a goal. In this manner it looks to me that the points are added on as bonuses (and they are referred to as so a couple of times) to the regular goal score, rather than added points. Are they counted once they happen, or once the ball is scored into a goal? The ball has to be cycled through anyways, but what if the game ends before the cycle is complete? Are the assist, truss toss and catch points earned anyways, or not because the cycle wasn't completed?
