Please don't. It has a very high chance of screwing with other teams' autotargeting systems that depend on the tape. What would the purpose of this be? If it is just for looks, just screw it because that isn't cool, when it can mess up the other robots. If you are using it to detect a position of a part, just use encoders, limit switches or even ultrasonic rangefinders!
