You want to take the risk that if you remove something from it there's no powder coating on the hidden surfaces?
You welded the frame and are prepared to grind off the powder coating to fix broken joints?
You don't mind the powder coat sticking to everything?
You hope corrosion won't form between 2 parts of metal stuck together in close proximity?

Generally I don't powder coat my vehicles with the car assembled.
I may powder coat the frame but it's welded and after assembly of the car if the frame breaks the repair will be hard anyway.
So grinding off my powder coat might be the easy part.
