Re: Robotics Staff Specialist job in Baltimore City

That is an AMAZING job description. I do almost everything in the description as just a small subset of my current job, and my base salary is 34% less than that, and I bet my cost of living is higher too. As a teacher, it would take me 9 years and a Masters to reach the starting salary of this position. And I do 80% of that job description as 25% of my current job. The other 75% is teaching 5 classes and IT support.

It is really awesome for this school district to realize the need and value of a person dedicated to the tasks described in this position.

If it was in California and if I didn't absolutely love where I'm working currently, I'd be all over it.

How many contract days per year is this position? I wish my district had a "specialist" for robotics like this, just like they have a "specialist" for ELD, etc.
