Obeying the law and not punching people in the face also isn't part of the acronym, but people generally recognize that this is more important than the elements of the acronym. That said, the
FIRST acronym does a nice job of recognizing the mission statement of the organization, and emphasizing the central importance of recognizing and inspiring science and technology.
