Re: CRIO module ports
There are very specific ports for the cRio modules.
For the 4-slot cRio:
-Slot 1 MUST be the analog module (DB25 connector, no LEDs)
-Slot 2 MUST be the digital IO module (DB37 connector, no LEDs)
-Slot 3 can optionally be the digital driver module (DB25 connector, 8 LEDs). It is not required but it is the only module that can go in this slot
-Slot 4 can be any of these modules and is optional. You should not need a second module with the quantities of IO provided by the first three.
For the 8-slot cRio:
-Slot 1 MUST be the analog module (DB25 connector, no LEDs)
-Slot 2 MUST be the digital IO module (DB37 connector, no LEDs)
-Slot 3 can optionally be the digital driver module (DB25 connector, 8 LEDs). It is not required but it is the only module that can go in this slot.
-Slot 4 does nothing
-Slot 5 can be a second analog module (optionally)
-Slot 6 can be a second digital IO module (optionally)
-Slot 7 can be a second digital driver module (optionally)
-Slot 8 does nothing.
