We are setting up our practice field next weekend along the same lines as you guys. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, especially if you happened to have plans or a BOM (beyond what FIRST provides).
How long did it take you to get this far? About how much did you spend on wood?
Also, we want to simulate the plexiglass on the driver's station but actual plexiglass seems prohibitively expensive. What are your plans there?
This is the first time we've attempted to build a practice field since we operate out of a school, but this year's field seemed simple enough to give it a shot. We're also building two bots for the first time so this will help motivate the team. |
