Ok, what autodesk is saying as a tip is actually what already happens automatically when you network render or just render multiple frames at a time.

Basically the tip means............... Save your files as this filename0000.type of format (the 0000 should be your frame number that you are starting out on (remember you start on frame 0 not 1)) So for instance when I go to render my 909 files at 30.03 fps I save it as Team93animation0000.jpg the program will automatically rename the files in chronological order like Team93animation0001.jpg Team93animation0002.jpg ect...

The file format does not matter but different compressions take different amount of time to render and take up different amount of space.
