Re: pic: Team 359 2014 Robot

I should have put Teaser as the title since I purposely chose this view.
Its really simple to figure out how this robot scores if I showed the other views.

As far as drivetrain goes, we made improvements to acceleration, speed and power vs. our 2013 one.
There are 2 shooters on this robot, but the one on the rear is not assembled as we are still waiting for parts to finalize. The front uses pneumatic cylinders.

This is not similar to the Ri3D 1.0 other than the intake setup. However, we never looked at that robot as we developed ours. But then again, most intake designs I've seen so far are all similar using the horizontal bar approach.

Intake chain is the bicycle chain we use in our drivetrain.

We are able to use software pulsing (842 idea) for adjusting shots as well as another hardware mechanism that allows for higher shorter (up against goal) vs. lower farther shots. Most teams with a similar design have this feature....they just have to use it. For what we plan to do as our primary scoring, its not a huge difference though.

This was probably the best build season we had in a while since we used a modular approach to building.
How else will I justify getting a Waterjet?
