Re: paper: Easy To Use Automated Scouting File
Over the last year Team 128 and I have developed the following completely automated scouting system based mostly on OPR. It pulls data from the internet from any regional that you choose from this year and will also work for 2013 and 2012 if you have the correct regional code.
Notable Features:
Update OPR, CCWM, DPR, and other useful data from the internet (much like 2834s database)
Compare multiple teams at once
Scout or look up data for any match you choose, including custom matchups
Method to rank strength of schedule and predict standings
Import pictures from FRC Tracker website or place your own
Easy to update, and clear information (button or ctrl+shift+i for import ctrl+shift+c for clear)
Modified DPR to take into account opponents offensive abilities
Improved CCWM to due to modified DPR
Added QS OPR (much like other OPR subcategories, uses QS as [b] in [A][x] = [b])
Compatible for 2014, 2013 and 2012 games (and presumably future years)
Let me know if you have any questions or what you think about it, and test it out for yourself or your team.
