Re: Easy way to turn off radio on router?

One way that I have found to reduce the WiFi interference is to run your robot radio under a hidden network. When you run the radio in AP mode for practice, it broadcasts an SSID (your team number) that allows other devices such as smartphones and computers to get information about the network. Hiding the SSID makes it so that you have to know the SSID in order to see and connect to the network.
To set up the hidden network:
  • Go into the radio's wireless settings, and check "Enable Hidden wireless."
  • Follow this tutorial to find and connect to the hidden network.
