Re: cRio Imaging Problems

Just to clarify a number of things.

Imaging a cRIO could also be called reformatting. It reinstalls the OS, the libraries and the FPGA bitfile. This needs to be done once at the beginning of the season and if the image were somehow corrupted. The cRIO runs the Reliance file system, described here. Corruptions are quite rare. You can also image if you were to accidentally delete critical files using ftp or similar tools.

The initial post is a runtime error that involves a call to the Axis Camera's mode. In order to fix the runtime error, you need to review your C++ code and look at the parameters to the camera initializer or other vision related calls. You may even want to step through the code to see when the error is produced. Reformatting the controller is one of the last recommendations I'd make to fix the error.
