My team actually had a very
clever implementation on how they keep the catapult safe. If you click the link, you see that they're running a surgical tubing powered catapult, which they'll load after they've placed the robot on the field. However, they still keep the winch for the catapult ready by running the line for the winch to a carabiner, which they'll unhook while in transit.
