Role Model: Pick A Good One
Watching this season unfold has been difficult as a passionate FIRSTER who can no longer actively participate. It has given me time and space to mull over threads, posts, comments, topics, the impact of social media, the game, and our community.
As we move into these next competitions, I'd like to ask everyone to select a role model who means something of value to you and helps you keep on keeping on, staying positive, and remembering to pack your sense of humor right along with your deodorant.

We are all passionate about these amazing programs. Very true. But the real truth is, these programs are only as amazing and as strong as the community that builds them. Choose a role model and enjoy thinking about the gifts that he or she gives you. Carry that influence with you through these next few weeks as we continue to move through the competition season.
