You can do that now but it isn't nearly as easy as having it all 'built in'.
I'd love to see some custom diagnostics come out of this, where you can run an automated checklist and see that everything in your system is plugged in and operating as expected before each match. You will either get an all good, or your system will point directly to the problem. No more losing matches because somethings not plugged in right.
