There are uses for pushable holonomic drives, but there are also drawbacks. In neither of those videos were you on the receiving end of dedicated, forceful defense.

It is categorically false that you "should not use" a holonomic drive as a fundamental rule, though. I wouldn't pick one this game due to the huge prevalence of defense in competitive matches, but there have been many FRC games in which it could be a huge asset.
