Kevin, I think volunteering to help would be a great thing for your team. There is almost always a need for volunteering spots. You could even ask them about your team covering a certain number of spots and rotating volunteers so that the kids can also get some time watching. I got a whole new appreciation for this game by refereeing this past weekend. I think your students would gain a lot of appreciation for what it takes to put on an event by volunteering. And the experience would make a great paragraph in your 2015 Chairman's submission.
