I find it funny that, compared to many other regions, PNW is still considered young.

In my state...
Teams under 1000 don't even exist.
1816 (woo Green Machine) is the eldest sustaining team (rookie year 2006)
2/3 (I think exactly) of the field in MN is numbered 3000 or higher and 2/3 (again exactly) of the qualifiers for the MSHSL championship are 3000+.
