The sideline interviews can add great info and context but only if they are given the proper time, which is why I think they didn't work as well here. In my (admittedly biased) opinion I think the RoboShow interviews with
Pink and
Swamp regarding the DQs this year are a good example of this kind of sideline interview done well.
