Hi Justin,
Thanks for the input - helpful comments like these are what really lets us tailor Ruckus into the event that our attendees want.
For everyone,
The planning committee is carefully considering (read: heavily, heavily discussed!) the delicate balance between the desire for a "big" feeling event and the desire for more matches by those attending. While we aren't 100% certain yet and I cannot provide any guarantees, our general feeling is basically in agreement with your concern in that we don't want to push past 42 teams even if we can physically accommodate that at the venue. Again, that's not a hard number just yet, but it's a rough target that we're trying to zero in on as we get through some more planning details.
All that said, we've seen a record number of registrations in just the first few days here (
thank you teams!!). If you are on the fence about registering, I suggest getting your team to discuss it soon and get your registration in! Remember that payment is not due immediately.
If your team has questions about the event or the registration process, please use the contact form on the website (
http://ruckus.penfieldrobotics.com) and we'll get back to you very quickly. Comments left here also work, but contacting via the site will get you a reply much faster. We also welcome suggestions and any feedback on last year's event that you didn't get to provide or just want to remind us of
I'm looking forward to a great event and am excited for Ruckus #10!
