Today’s Girls in Tomorrow’s Workplace - a Q&A and Panel Discussion

Please pass on this invitation to all interested high school and college aged girls, or anyone who you think would be interested. MOE FRC and First State Robotics has organized a panel discussion and Q&A about the opportunities and challenges for women in STEM careers. It’s a good opportunity for girls to ask questions and talk to women in a variety of roles in industry about education, internships, challenges of being in a male dominant field, how they ended up in their eventual fields. The panelists include:

Karen Fletcher, DuPont Chief Engineer
Jennifer Buckley, Professor of Engineering, Univ. of DE
Diane Gulyas, former group vice president of DuPont Performance Polymers
Rosemary Crawford- Senior Manager for V-22 Mission Systems Software at Boeing Company
Julie Michelini, recent graduate of University of Pittsburgh, industrial engineering, Northrop Grumman
Melissa Fox, recent graduate of Univ. of DE, mechanical engineering, CERDEC, and MOE alum

All are welcome.

Monday, May 19th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Building 730, DuPont Chestnut Run Plaza, 974 Centre Road, Wilmington, DE.
Refreshments will be available. Please RSVP to prmoe365@gmail.com by May 17 or call 302-695-3590 for more information.
