Oblarg is right in that sort of language is destructive, but it doesn't help to reply with "YOURE UNGRACIOUS", as I feel that's more-so destructive. If they are then help to understand what you believe is the right way to respond. Be a mentor.

I tell my students this every time they want to say something negative. To tell me what they feel but choose their words careful enough to not be negative. And if they do say something that's offensive or could be offensive, then it's my duty to remind them to say it in a more polite manner.
After all FIRST & CD are both places to learn everything.
