The Hat aside, I had a special affinity for other effective wheeled shooters, especially 254 and 1717, but also 4946. In season dominated by design convergence towards catapults, it was nice to see a few teams take a different approach and still manage to make it wildly effective.
I'm surprised Team 67 isn't getting more mentions in this thread. Perhaps it's because we're accustomed to their engineering excellence, but I was typically blown away by the effectiveness of their robot this year. From watching their matches, it felt like they had the quickest release in FRC this season. By quickest release, I mean that they spent the least amount of time from getting into a shooting position and actually shooting; a highly underrated robot skill each year.
