I didn't say they weren't. Though I wonder why that is. Do we only ever see the top Michigan teams, since they have to score well enough in their state to make it to World's? Is the district system enhancing the level of play because teams get to do multiple events and build on experience/improvements? Are the tech industries in Michigan more apt to help fund/mentor/support FRC teams? Is it that good teams bring up the level of play in their vicinity? [side story, the best defense I've ever seen on us was from a rookie, W.A.F.F.L.E.S., at world's in 2013. Their driver said they practiced defense by playing against 1114 and 2056...]
Michigan teams are good. Canadian teams are good. California teams are good. Really, though, IRI teams are good.
