That is correct. The roboRIO CAN bus will run only at 1Mb/s. In addition, the can nodes that must be on the bus follow an incompatible addressing format that would interfere with and be interfered with by J1939 devices. The port itself is capable of talking to them, tho. Just not in an FRC environment.
