We use tablets for our scouting app
FRCKrawler and found the Hisense Sero 7 Pro to work very well. They are cost effective and spec'd very similar/better than a Gen 1 Nexus 7. There is a great deal on refurbished ones going on right now at
newegg for $50 after rebate. It might be worth checking out.
