As a VA team, I'll be biased as well.
Our team attends Palmetto as well as VA. Both are great events and the team enjoys them.
My only point to sway your decision is the social event. In VA the kids have a ball, mentors usually find it entertaining as well. In Palmetto...... maybe you can find a restaurant that will seat your whole team.
