I like the sound of "simple and objective rules."

I suggest not getting too fanatical about taking away referees' ability to use subjective, common sense judgment; otherwise we will still have nonsense like penalizing a team for bumping into a poorly built robot that subsequently drops a piece of itself onto the field.
