The likelihood of
FIRST approving something other than the current District System is extremely slim. FIRST had the Michigan and MAR models and then created the current District and Unified Points System based on those experiences and input from the PNW, NE District organizers and other interested parties. The only
potential significant change
might be allowing inter-district play for the 2015 season.
Note Indiana is piloting a mini-district model but the only real difference is the number of teams in the district.
