My team is in need of a version control system for CAD this year (we are using Solidworks), and I just discovered this. It seems to be a lot easier than renting a VPS to run Solidworks PDM on. Have any teams used it in the past? How did it go?
You could always install PDM on a regular computer and then VPN into the network it's located on whenever you're not colocated with the server computer.
