Re: [Ri3d] Ri1W Unveil Video

One of our team members (JR) works for an 80/20 distributor, he gives discounts to Florida FTC teams he works for Florida Motion and Control.

The polycord was purchased from McMaster its called Urethane Solid Core Round Belting, there are many options depending on how your going to use it.

The goals are large and stable enough that lining up wasn't too terrible, although getting the end effector lined up to score was tricky, I would put some mechanical alignment devices on the bot to aid the drivers with that if we were taking the bot to a tournament. Acquiring balls was relatively easy because there are so many of them its not like your having to aim to get one specific game piece. Then again we weren't in a match with 3 other robots, one thing was its easy to ride up on the smaller balls so teams might consider skirts or something to keep balls from under their chassis.
