Safety Award information is in the FIRST Safety Manual available on the usfirst.org website. Lots of good information here. Everything they look for is in there. Look under section called "Safety Awareness and Recognition Program".

When we interview teams, we start very simply with something like, "Tell me about your safety program" or "What do you do for shop / tool training?" We may also ask what safety equipment you have in the pit.
